Get On Board!

There's some serious work to be done, and you'll have a great time working side by side with Christians of another culture.  Experience the wonderful madness of trying to communicate across language barriers as you mix cement by hand and do simple carpentry projects.  You will laugh as much as work.  Skilled contractors, we can probably use you in your area of expertise.  There is something for everyone to do on the construction projects.  And when it's all done, a church building awaits a grateful congregation.  For many, it will be the first church they ever set foot in.

Have You Ever Noticed?foto302

Everyone likes to be asked for advice.  Everyone wants to feel valued.  And our brothers and sisters in Central America are no exception.  What do we mean?  Well, one of the most impactful ministries you can have on a trip is to make the nationals feel dignified and respected.  Go ahead- ask them for help.  Listen to their ideas.  Follow their directions.  Truth is, they need your friendship and genuine respect much more than your expertise.  And the building is  theirs, after all.  So go out of your way to make them feel valued.

Specially trained leaders will guide your trip and help you to make the most of every opportunity.  So open your heart to someone very different from you... and watch God move in big ways.

Leave Part Of Yourself Behind

Having a ministry for a week or two is great.  But having a ministry for years to come is outstanding. You can actually extend the impact of your trip when you leave the nationals with the supplies you bring with you.

From puppets that you'll make at home (don't worry- we'll send you the patterns) to equipment; everything you bring along can serve the Central Americans long after you're gone.

Bring your best, but be careful it's not too high-tech.  The more manual and portable, the better the chances that your equipment will be well-used.

Both children and adults will benefit from the generosity of the teams visiting Central America.  So get creative!  How much can you leave behind...?
